Yeah, I’ve considered the Oregon income tax. I’m looking at places in Vancouver as well, but I think I still prefer Portland even with the added expense. Many more friends and a better city vibe to it.

This is your Uncle Lyle replying from your Mom’s computer. If you haven’t yet, you need to consider that if you live in Portland you will be paying Oregon income tax, whereas if you live in Vancouver, they have virtually no income tax. Oregon’s income tax is about 9 per cent. Most people live in Vancouver & shop in Portland, because Washington collects their taxes via a sales tax. Anyway, this is just one thing to consider before you make a final decision on where you are going to live.

At least as I understand it, .tel is a top level domain is basically for use with storing contact information in databases and creating contact directories. I’m sure I’ll be able to answer that better in a few weeks.
